Cultural Colours

I thought this was interesting.

Funeral/Mourning Colours.

Western: Black

Asian: White

In Thailand purple is worn by the mourning as well, but generally by the widowed.

Disney

This is another old one.

We did this one with luke after the simpson character. We had to choose a disney character and vector it. Then i went over it in photoshop with the dodge and burn tools.

Batmobile

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na... BATMAN....

We had to vectorize a car of any sort for Luke's class a while back.
I'm not really into that sort of thing so i chose the batmobile.
I finally got around to finishing it. That gradient mesh tool is awesome once you figure out how to use it :)

Emotion Drawings

These are a bit old, but they were for the first class we ahd with Luke. Bliss, Greed, Frustration, Jealousy.

Colour Theory

So today in class, and for the last 2 weeks we've been studying 'Colour Theory'.

We were asked to colour 3 different images, using only and all of the primary colours, two Complimentary colours, and two Dissonant colours.

Then we were asked to play around with 'Monochromatic' colour on Illustrator.
