Rule Of Thirds

The most common and effective composition principle used in design/art/photography. Using a grid of 3x3 to effectively compose an easy, well balanced, eye appealing image by keeping your target/main focus points in thirds, mainly the four corners where all the lines meet.



Based from a painting rule of thumb the 'Golden Mean' in the 1800's. The same principle was used here in scenic painting.
