Company Ideas

After deciding to go with a guitar manufacturing company, I thought I would play around with a few names and concepts.

My favourites out of these were 'MACHINA', 'Digi', 'Vektar' and 'Legacy'.

Just throwing around a few ideas of concepts. Being a keyboardist and playing around with a lot of midi and digital sounds, I had the idea of a more modern guitar. With a meaty/retro design, switches and knobs, an Industrial yet professional look. With midi interface and triggers.

After researching some of the materials used to make guitars. It is almost possible for it to be plated with anything. There are even guitars made out of Kevlar! Check out Bulletproof Guitars.

I think maybe even something simple like a steel plating. The weight of the guitar would also have to be considered and the wood. Maybe even the steel plating pattern made out of aluminium or some kind of lightweight metal, or even just a metallic painted finish would give it that effect.
